Destination Overview

Join us and experience the magical atmosphere of Iceland, with its rich knitting and textile heritage and abundant natural beauty – there's no shortage of inspiration for you to discover! Iceland is a country brimming with creative skill and knitting history, as generations of Icelanders have handed down their techniques resulting in famous designs.

Although Iceland’s history pre-dominantly features knitting, with plenty of sheep and Lopi sweaters, the abundance of yarn and all things woolly on display throughout the country also makes it a must-see destination for crafting aficionados. To this, add a heady mix of spectacular scenery, mighty waterfalls, spouting geysers, and incredible hot lagoons, and you have a perfect destination in which to indulge in your favourite pastime.

All our Icelandic craft adventures are accompanied by an experienced expert who will teach workshops inspired by the dramatic landscapes and scenery on offer. By the end of a truly fascinating journey, you will take home a hand-crafted memento of a truly memorable trip!
