Knitting

Overview

Ideal for anyone who loves knitting, travel, and wonderful crafting experiences, our collection of knitting holidays features the Shetland Islands, the Faroe Islands, and Norway – all of which hold their own time-honoured knitting traditions and techniques, and are at the top of every knitter’s bucket list! You can also explore the knitting heritage of remarkable destinations including Peru, Finland, the Baltics and more.

Most cruises, retreats and tours include a Stitchtopia knitting kit, as well as opportunities to meet local knitters and designers, visit yarn stores, and enjoy ‘woolly themed’ excursions. Our experienced experts will host workshops, and, under their guidance, you can learn the traditional techniques of some of the world’s greatest knitting nations. We also offer weekend breaks which focus on workshops, where you can develop your skills as you work on your very own knitting project.

Experienced knitters, those looking to simply improve their skills, and knitters travelling alone are all warmly welcomed. So, if you want to develop your knitting skills, make new friends, or simply broaden your travel horizons, look no further than a Stitchtopia knitting holiday.
