Join our expert Julie Dubreux as we visit picturesque Bath! The city transforms into a festive wonderland at Christmastime, filled with twinkling lights, the aroma of mulled wine, and charming decorated chalets of the Christmas market offering unique gifts, handcrafted goods and seasonal treats!
There will be time to explore the historic streets around Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent and see the iconic Pulteney Bridge during our walking tour, as well as spending the day in the Cotswolds where we will visit Cirencester, often referred to as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’, and some of the scenic villages renowned for their quintessential charm with historic links to the once thriving Cotswold wool industry. You will also be able to visit the famous Roman Baths on our included excursion, as well as spend two full days knitting with Julie!

Make your own way to the historic city of Bath to meet Julie Dubreux and your tour manager at the Apex City of Bath Hotel in time for this afternoon’s walking tour of Bath, starting at 2:30pm.
Today, join Julie for a full day knitting workshop in the hotel.
The Bath Christmas Market will be held during our stay in the city and is just a short walk from the hotel, allowing you to explore at your leisure throughout the week. The market opens from 10am each day and closes early evening.
Today, we will experience the charm of rural England by spending the day visiting some scenic villages of the Cotswolds. Nestled in rolling green hills, they're known for their honey-coloured stone cottages and winding lanes. During our guided tour, we will also hear about the once thriving Cotswold wool trade dating back to the Middle Ages, Cotswold sheep known as ‘Cotswold Lions’, and the industry’s legacy to the area.
We will also visit Cirencester, often referred to as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’, and Cotswold Woollen Weavers, where the tradition of fine woollens continues despite the demise of the wool industry in the area. Housed in 18th century buildings, you will be able to explore the exhibition areas, machinery and a wide range of woollen cloths, garments, rugs and accessories.
Today, join Julie for the final full-day workshop in the hotel.
This morning, we will visit the Roman Baths, one of the best-preserved ancient spas in the world. During the visit, you will be able to see the Sacred Spring which produces over a million litres of water daily at a temperature of 46°C, the Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Sulis Minerva, The Bathhouse, comprising the Great Bath, hot and cold plunge pools, and saunas.
Following the visit, we will return to the hotel. From here, you can depart at your leisure.
