Amber Elizabeth is a fourth-generation seamstress with a passion for sewing that began at age eight. She studied Fashion Design at the University of Leeds and gained industry experience with independent high-street and high-end designer brands.
Amber launched The Sewist & Co in 2022 and regularly runs sewing classes, private tuition and sewing social events. In 2024, Amber won TV Channel Sewing Street’s 'Search for a Sewing Star' competition and continues to deliver her expertise as their Guest Sewing Demonstrator.
Amber loves teaching and helping students build confidence, making sewing enjoyable and accessible for all. She looks forward to flourishing within the sewing industry through her upcoming product range and expansion to online learning.
