Workshop information: Join Frederica Patmore for a festive exploration into both knitting and crochet techniques. Learn short-row shaping and how to knit in the round on double-pointed needles to make miniature Christmas stockings – the best first step into the world of sock knitting! Followed up with crocheted snowflakes to trim your tree this Christmas or gift to your friends, this multi-day workshop will also include demonstrations on how to knit with beads, embroidery, and basic crochet techniques for anyone who’s a little rusty. You just need to have learned the basics in both knitting and crochet to join this fabulous festive retreat.
Meet Frederica Patmore and your tour manager at the Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. This evening, get to know your fellow knitters as you enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Tour notes: On this tour you will need to be able to make your own way between our workshop room, your bedroom and the hotel restaurant. Additionally on one of the days you will need to walk a short distance from the hotel to Betty’s Tearoom.
